Re: SWGOH is down

Hi

I have been trying to access the SWGOH app for the past 20+ minutes to start my Grand Arena since I have 1 hour left.  I keep getting a connection error "Unable to access a required internet resource. Possible service interruption or poor internet connection." BUT I have WIFI and full data service.  ALL my other APP works and so does Safari searches on my iPhone.  THis is not my phone issue but the EA SWGOH server issue.  I have not started my GA and need to before 5pm.  This is the last round.  If I cannot log in then I FULLY EXPECT the EXACT compensation that i would have POSSIBLY WON.  Not just the usual "Whoops we are sorry here some free stuff".   I have brought this up in Discord with other Guild members and they cannot get onto the APP either.  PLEASE get back to me including the true compensation for this error.  I currently lost 1 and won 1 and I know I could beat this next opponent, but waited for the last hour like I usually do (you can check my past history on all GA's).  Thanks  Glenn Hicks IGN:  ScAirE1 ([edit: email address removed])

  • Had this exact same issue and I don't know why. I've restared my phone, deleted data and catche on the swgoh app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing has worked. So now I come here looking for help. If anyone can find a solution to this issue please do let use know.

    At app startup while loading cantina receiving unable to access a required internet resource. Tried from iPad and iPhone, on WiFi and cell. Cleared cache. Deleted app on iPhone stuck trying to download after reinstall.

    They posted a message saying they are aware and investigating the cause

    Many, many people can't get in right now

    Same problem. All of my guild members had this problem. I am afraid for the grand arena last round battle. Will see what will happen🙂

    I’ve also tried to reconnect Gamecenter as I have the issue on my iPhone but that also does not work

  • I've been trying to log in for over half an hour and it's impossible. But don't worry, I'm sure the devs will give us a bunch of crystals as compensation. Oh, wait.😢

    Same here, I just lost in the grand arena because of this mistake 😥
  • The game says internet resources not available. This is for mobile and wireless. It was working earlier

    I tried getting on for an hour and could not. I was unable to participate in GAC because of it.

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for your reports and reaching out to bring this to our attention. Our dev team is on the case and is working on a fix to get you back to the game as soon as possible. While I don't have any specific information about the timeframe or potential compensation, I can assure you that they are doing everything they can to resolve the issue. They've already noticed some improvements and @CG_Tusken_Meathead confirmed they are still working on it in his update post. Hopefully, we'll have great news to share on that front soon.
