Re: Unable to log in (Google Play)

It's the same for me. Infinite loop of trying to login via Google Play account, then loading Cantina, then saying the game restarting. The game works if I choose to play as a guests tho, but oddly enough I'd like to keep playing on my own **bleep** account

I had the same problem but seem to be OK now. I'm not entirely certain what I did but here is what I did.

When the google play window comes up and asked which account I wanted to use to log in, I canceled it and then repeated that process until I got the game window that asks if I want to log in using google play or as a guest. I selected guest and the game just magically loaded my account. Why or how, I have no idea. For the record, I never logged out of google like the suggested workaround. So if you can get the in-game window to pop up asking if you want to sign in as a guest, CLICK IT! It's been working ever since and I even was able to get in using google.

I hope this helps someone. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT FIX. FIX YOUR GAME EA! 

Going on 3 days for me. Strangely it will open as a guest user but when I choose my account that I've had for years it kicks back to the login screen.

Yep. Annoying as h*ll. I'm on a Google pixel 8 pro and tried every fix I could find to no avail. My guild has a naboo raid about to expire that I can't contribute to, I can't do the conquest, all of my dailies are just sitting unable to be completed... It can't be that hard to figure out what's causing this. Gonna be super angry if we don't get major compensation for this. Luckily I can still log in to the store tho /sar

Same here. You'd think they could handle this. I know it's happened multiple times over the course of this games life. Makes me sick I'm still unable to play. No issues with my Google account. BIG issue with CG and this locked out of thr game crap. They probably aren't even working on it

They better hook us with replacement rewards for everything we lost! Or refund all the money I've spent over the years on this game! It's bull**bleep**!

Work around doesn't work for everyone. Plus it's a ghetto work around. They need to fix thier POS game and not be having Android users jump through hoops to waste thier time and hard earned money. How is thier game broken this badly?

And now the guest is stuck in another loop. It says you can open ships and asks you to tap on a ship, and nothing happens.  

I'm still having the same problem too, it's been 2 days now and I still can't access my account through google play. I've tried their solution but it still doesn't work and shows the same connection issue. I wonder how long they're going to take to fix this one

Same here! You can log in to the guest account, go to your in-game settings, connect, and import account. This will log you in directly through ea connect instead of Google play. My issue is that I tried a 2nd time to access my alternate account, and it logged me into an old abandoned account, and now I cant access either current accounts.... and of course, this all has to happen to us during an important marquee event... smh
