Shock not preventing TM gain

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:Apple iPhone
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? iPhone 8
OS Version Latest
Ally Code: (Find it here: http://bit.ly/AllyCode ) 396197254
What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug I am stuck trying to complete Tier 5 of the Darth Revan event. The difficulty is difficult and what is making it harder, and unfair, is that shock is not stopping the enemy units from gaining Turn Meter when attacked. Shock, by its nature as a debuff, is meant to prevent bonus turn meter gain. It is not being applied correctly here.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Shock any enemy unit during the event. Upon attacking another diffferent enemy unit - the shocked unit still gains turn meter.

  • Hi @mtjsmith87 and thank you for the report.

Not sure, what the issue exactly is, since "Shock" is not preventing turn meter gain, but Bonus turn meter gain. So even with "Shock" applied, all the units on the opposing team are still gaining their normal turn meter.

Yes, gaining normal turn meter is fine which is linked to the units speed. Bonus turn meter is being granted when you attack an opponent. Therefore, each attack on the opponent seems to grant all enemy units a “bonus” 5% turn meter. Shock is meant to stop bonus turn meter.

Well, they are either gaining bonus tm, or they are just much faster than you. The borrowed Darth Revan is also gaining a significantly greater amount of tm than your own units. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the borrowed Revan gains about as much tm as all enemy units in the time it takes your HK to get to 100%. What are the speeds on your characters?

The video is really helpful and I thought I saw similar behavior. I couldn't tell what the in-game mechanics were, but it seems like the Sith Soldier grants his allies turn meter whenever he takes damage. I had noticed tm being granted multiple times when my Canderous used his multi-attack basic.

I didn't pay attention to the presence of shock or not.

I don't know if maybe Sith Soldier's tm gain "can't be prevented"? I think the game mechanics for these characters are mostly hidden from players.

Those are special event units in a custom made event which are adjusted to provide the correct difficulty level and best event experience.

Again, appreciate that it’s a special event - but the only specific “Tm gain can’t be prevented” is on the boss which cannot be inflicted with shock. There is no other mention anywhere around specific rules or interactions for this event.  It is not clear that shock has effectively lost it’s role as a tactic in this game play mode and thus an unfair experience.
