Same here, only used Google play because it's a mobile game. Been playing daily for 8 years. Tried using EA connect and now im permanently locked in at lvl2. The game won't let me unlink EA. So angry. If I lost my whole account over this..... idek
I am having the same issue, it's beyond frustrating
I'm having the same issue with one account locked into EA connect, but three other accounts that were on Google play are lost. I've tried every so-called fix that has been proposed and nothing works. All my accounts were 9 years old, so I'm not happy to just let them go.
covadonga722 same thing on my end. I can use my primary account but cannot access my two other accounts. I have a lot of time, blood, sweat, and tears wrapped up in my alternate accounts and I contribute significantly to my guild with them. Royally frustrating and unacceptable!

EA_Gunner It doesn't work it will make ur Google play services get wrong , dont do it its not safe, now heroes can't even connect to the Google play , shame on you

EA_Gunner the workaround did not work for me. I'm lucky I can still log into the PC client, since I'm a guild officer in charge of TB. Speaking of which, if it's not resolved by Monday, there will be hell to pay. Half or more of my guild can only get to the game on mobile. We are going to need some serious compensation for this.
