Hello,
Same problem for me too... I can't connect to the game since April 14th despite several attempts to uninstall / reinstall, purge the cache, etc...
I even tried to install it on another IOS device but without results too.
I use IOS 14.4.2
Do you have a solution, it's getting long!

Can you provide your ally codes?
If you haven't tried already, could you try loading the game on a different connection? For example if you were using a wifi connection, try with a cellular (3g/4g) connection and vice versa. Please let us know if this helps.- 5 years ago

My ally code is: 396-554-783.
Here is what I found by trying different things: The configuration of my phone is in French (I am from Belgium). When I change the phone settings to English, I can connect (I succeeded yesterday but I lost 6 days...). But when I change the phone settings back to French, it doesn't work anymore.
This solution can only be temporary because I can't keep my phone and the game in English... As you can imagine!
Same phenomenon on wifi or data.

Hi @btskv5wd57z65 and thanks for that. You mentioned that changing your phone settings to English worked? Is your store set to English?
This has now been reported to the team.
This seems similar to something we encountered before. The below helped as a workaround for players.
Changing your system language to the same language as your store region gets rid of the error so you can continue to play until a fix has been put in place. eg. if your store is in France, change your device language to French.
