Stuck on "checking for updates"

I'm running Android and am stuck on the checking for updates screen. This started this morning. When I use data I'm stuck but can get on sometimes with WiFi. How do I fix this?

The issue should now be resolved.

Could you try connecting with T-Mobile data again and see if you're able to play?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. I was able to login using mobile data after clearing the cache partition on my phone.

Tried that on my S6 did not work. Still stuck on updates for mobile data.

  I'm having the exact same issue on an iphone 6. Stuck on updates. It's only happening on cell service. It's fine once I connect to wifi but I play mostly on cell so this is a problem

    Thanks for the reports. Can you confirm the following information for me so we can get this sent to the SWGOH team for investigation:
    
    - Device
    
    - Android or iOS
    
    - Player ID
    
    - Mobile carrier (i.e T-Mobile, AT&T etc)
    
    - Does the game work on wifi without issue?
