SWGOH CRASHING ON IPAD

While this can certainly be the case, a few things for you to share with your dev team. 

1. I have successfully been running the iOS/iPadOS 27 betas since WWDC, with no problems in the game until the Dark Yoda event known issue (that has since been resolved). Since the hotfix? Crashes every time. Coincidence? Possibly. But I don’t believe in coincidence. 
2. Even if it is bets related, we are on dev beta 5 or 6. Much closer to GM than not, so your team should be ensuring compatibility prior to the early September public release. 
   
   

while I accept potential disruptions when I install beta os versions, as a developer myself, it drives me nuts to see the, sadly too often, response being “downgrade off the beta” with no acknowledgment that you’ll pass the information along. That’s just burying your head in the sand. 

EA_QueenBee​ I’m having this same issue on the iOS 27 beta since the hotfix. I believe it’s related to Game Center somehow. I have my SWGoH account linked to my Google account and I can still launch the game fine on Android. Also, if I sign out of Game Center on my iPhone, the game launches fine, albeit without my account data. This isn’t a solution obviously - just providing some additional evidence.

EA_QueenBee​ - any update on this?  It been ongoing since the Dark Yoda hotfix. Fortunately my iPad (also on the beta and same account) is not affected 

I’ve been having the same issue since the hotfix release too. Have tried every suggested “fix” and every combo of install/relaod/login/remove update six ways to Sunday. Everything else on my phone works perfectly fine even other games. Personally I’d just like a fix to play again and comp. for everything I’ve lost while the game won’t work for me. (TW rewards, Conquest, Yoda event)

I guess I jinxed myself. Now the iPad won’t load it either. 

Sparkydrill77​ - still having trouble? I deleted the app and reinstalled it and now I can get in. 

This was working with no issue until your last update. That is all that changed. It does not inspire confidence when developers can’t just own up and say they introduced a bug or we didn’t take x into consideration, only to just blame it on the OS. Classy….. Real Classy.
