SWGOH downloading assets

I recently deleted the swgoh game cache because it was getting too large for my phone. Everything was working just fine until recently. Every time I open the game now it says that it has to download more data.

Sometimes, I get a connection error and it won’t download said data and I’m locked from the game. I know I don’t have a connection problem because my internet works just fine with everything else.

I’ve been checking the cache data size when it says it downloads new things, however the cache size has stayed the same over the past week.

Any help on what I can do solve this is appreciated.
