Summarize your bug Since around 8/23/2018 morning 10:00 am Pacific time, the game had connection problem. It took an extremely long time to log in, or it showed an "there is an error on your connection" message. Even after it was able to login, It disconnected soon. And I was not able to enter the Territory Battle. I tested my other apps and games, and they were connecting OK, so this was NOT a network issue caused my house or my Internet provider. I also tested the game on both my iPad, and my Android phone, neither of them were working. So this was NOT an issue caused the platform, OS or version. This is an network issue cause by the end of the server.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Please check the server end for any connection and infrastructure issue.

Assuming you are not referring to the 8/23/2018 but more likely to the 8/13/2018, we have not received a large number of reports and our server logs appear to be fine. There is usually an increased server load when a specific event is starting (like the start of a Territory Battle) which should not have any noticeable impact on your gameplay experience/performance.
Can you try switching your network connection from WiFi to 3G/4G or the other way around, to see if that can improve your connection?
