I began playing this game before I had a device of my own, and was using my mothers email account for it. I’ve now had my own device for a while and my own Apple ID and I would like to be able to use my current save data on my Apple ID. Is there any way to move game data between Game Center accounts? Or is there any way to restore a backup to my current Apple ID?

U can contact ea help directly to assist you, but otherwise this is a DIY method to do it. Note - not fully tested but theoretically this should work - i had some experience with it recently. The basic idea is that you will be using a google play account to hold your account while it gets delinked from ur IOS account.
U need an android device, two google play accounts and two facebook accounts to do this safely.
Setup:
1. Link ur account to FB (FB1)
2. Link ur account to the google account (GP1)
3. Create a new account with another google play account (GP2) and link to your other FB account (FB2)
Once this is done, have basically your main account linked to your mum’s GC (GC Mum), FB1 and GP1, while the second account is linked to GP2 and FB2.
Transfer:
1. On your phone with GC Mum, link your dud account using FB2. This will overwrite the link of your main. (Note: it is important before you do this to ensure that your main is linked to FB and Google Play otherwise your account will be in the void and you will need help from EA CS - essentially means u are screwed unless you are a paying player)
2. Switch to your own gamecenter account
3. Log into FB1 and link to your gamecenter account
You will now have a dud account on your mum’s gamecenter while your account will be on your own gamecenter. If you screw up along the way, your account will still be linked to FB1 and GP1 so you are safe.
