Unable to Attempt Special Mission for Imperial Probe Droid Shards

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug The launch button for the Outer Pass Special Mission for Imperial Probe Droid shards reads REQUIRED UNITS 5/5 but remains disabled for me. I have five 7* Imperial Troopers, including Veers and Starck.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt the Outer Pass Special Mission with 7* characters: General Veers Colonel Starck Snowtrooper Stormtrooper Magmatrooper

Hi! Perhaps this is related to the bug some are reporting from phase 1. I had no trouble with the Special Mission in phase 1, but I am unable to attempt the Special Mission for phase 3 in the Outer Pass. I meet all the listed requirements, but pressing the launch button causes a message to appear "You have not met the requirements necessary to enter this mission". Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your patience meanwhile.

Update: In order to minimize the impact of this issue, please do the Special Missions first, then deploy and do the Combat Missions.

The special missions are the first thing I attempt, since they usually require certain characters. I have the same issue as the OP, with even the same characters it appears (7* Veers, Starck, Magmatrooper, Snowtrooper, and 6* Stormtrooper), and I am unable to attempt it. I've not deployed any characters, nor have I attempted any of the combat missions.

I deployed to the platoons first because that is what we do as a guild and then attempted the special mission which is locked for me. I tried deploying the imperial troopers to the territory as well but that didn't help. I still have not done the combat mission. Several of our guild members are reporting the same issue, I have pointed them to this link.

This bug,through loss of IMPD shard also affected the ability to play the later special combat mission that requires a 7* ImpD. My guild is just on the cusp of 90% 7*!!!!
