Are we forgetting the original sims?

I still play TS1, but I do have an old XP machine that keeps on chugging along. My main difficulty is the limited camera. You can go in only so far and have only 4 viewing angles. That said, that was the norm for the era and a lot better than in some games at the time. Games, any game, need to be judged according to what was possible in their day, not in comparison to later. How good a game was/is it with the technology available.

I can remember when computer games were strictly text, and were astoundingly popular.
