macOS Version

retrochansmith​  Do you mean Sims 2?  (Sims 1 isn't available in the App Store.)  The new versions of both games were only released for Windows.  For Sims 2 at least, the Mac port was done by Aspyr, and I'm not sure what the terms of the deal were and are—it's possible EA doesn't have the right to just release a new version.  Plus, the Aspyr port was already compatible with current versions of macOS, whereas the older Windows versions of 1 and 2 had issues that made them difficult to impossible to run on modern systems.
