Game bricked crash same place can't play the game

I am having this same issue, and I could play it fine before this last update.. I am hoping they fix that because I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't fix it so I guess now it's broken for me until next update.

jeown gdsssnowmoon  In what context exactly is the game crashing?  Does it crash if you're doing the same thing in a different household?

I click the icon, it has the ea moment, the sims loading screen, and the poof it's gone.. like no error message, no warning.  I don't know what you mean. I can't click on anything because it no longer loads. I un-installed, reinstalled and it was the exact some thing.. 

I fixed mine, when I uninstalled and reinstalled it this time, I located my saved files and just deleted all of it. I lost all my previous saves but I did get into the game again.. It's a shame there isn't a easier way to navigate this incase there is a bugged save.. But I think that was my problem.. If you want to try a complete reset make sure to navigate to the harddrive users the name of the PC saved games then electronic arts folder and delete the sims 25 folder completely, repair and relaunch.. I came back from the city and put a litter box for the cat and not long after it crashed but i saved just after putting the litter box. I tried selling it still crash
