Question about the Legacy edition

So I need some advice here.&nbsp; I already have a free version of The Sims 2 that was given away years ago to players who already owned the CDs of the game and expansions and was made playable through the Origin/EA Player launcher, and I still also have all the CDs for The Sims 1 and their expansions too.&nbsp; Will I still have to pay to get the Legacy edition so I can play The Sims through the EA Player or is there an exception somewhere to players who already own this and the free copy of The Sims 2?&nbsp; I honestly don't want to be paying double for games I both already own.

Even though The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection was given under the Origin brand, it should still be accessible through EA App.

However, in order to get the Legacy Collection versions you'll have to buy them, even though you still own the original CDs. Redeeming their CD-Keys on the EA App is not supported:
