Saving your Game while Neighbours are on lot CRASHES The Sims 1

Hey.  I know a lot of users are reporting crashing and visual glitches. But I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread of Gameplay glitches experienced in-game that WERE NOT in the original...

I have the same issue, been crashing every time I try to save whilst throwing a party. I play in neighborhood 1 as well, so I don't think it's linked to the neighborhoods.
