Sims 1 , All community lots slows game to a crawl!!!!
Anytime my sims leaves his home lot, no matter if it's to Old town, Vacation, Magic town, etc. The games slows to a complete crawl and becomes unplayable. I cannot find a fix for this!

Are you using an AMD card? There are numerous reports here and over at Steam, and I'm affected as well, so seeing another AMD user would confirm the theory that most players using AMD cards are affected by this...
I am indeed!! AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor and AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.
Also having this issue with an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
I refunded the game because of this on steam. The crawl also began to happen at the regular house as well. When ever the fix for this comes I will rebuy the game.
I have this problem also... Radeon RX 7600. So annoying! Also applies when a Sim comes over to my lot. As soon as I scroll away from the visitor, it returns to normal.
Yup, I've reported this both here and to AMD, super annoying bug which makes the game unplayable
I’ve got an AMD Radeon RX 6600 and my game is lagging heavily while on community lots… It’s unplayable

Has anyone experienced an improvement since today’s update? I was so thrilled to see another one came out… But still having the same issue with my AMD! Ugh!
I'm curious because it worked for the Nvidia, but have you tried a fresh driver install. As in uninstall/reinstall
Edit/add:: granted the issues are different, it still might be fixed by the same solution
