queenhunterr Did you try this driver specifically?
And did you run it as an admin, as in, right-click the download and select "Run as administrator"? If that doesn't or didn't help, let me know, and I'll PM you instructions for how to install the driver anyway. I don't want to post them here because other players could use it to force-install an incompatible driver without realizing that's what they were doing.

yes I tried that installer. I went back and took it off and tried again running administrator and was met with the same message unfortunately. Were you able to see my dxdiag? Thank you for taking your time and energy trying to help me figure this out. I really appreciate it!
