It has got to be known by now but just in case not... something went wrong with the UI scaling and the game world with 1080p resolutions.
Simmers did find a temp fix, changing your monitors resolution to 1280x720 before starting the game. BUT! I hope EA can fix this officially.

Yes, the game has an unusually small ui interface, and a tiny map neighborhood screen. My mother would love to play these games again, but she has vision difficulties. I shouldn't have to play the card, but as a person with a disability, I know my mom has the right to play the games she purchased, dispite her ability status. Even if the entire game is not changed, adding a special setting for those who need it would be appreciated.
We're up to Patch #4 and EA still refuse to even acknowledge it's an issue @ 1080p.
