Same. When it was first purchased it wouldn't load, just kept going back to the EA app after the icon flashed at the bottom then it failed. Now I updated the new update, was thrilled to see it was released and assumed it would now work. Nope. Same issue as you Vulkan something hasn't initialised. I just can't understand it. I tried the fix on here deleting some kind of C++ thing (which I now regret as it didn't work and I'm worried I've messed something else up but I just wanted it to work!) and downloading the up to date versions. Still the same issue. I can't actually believe EA have released TS1 claiming it's for Windows 10/11 and it's days after paying and I can't even play.
