I've tried going to professor Google, but like I've been seeing a lot on this forum, the only fix I was really able to find required the game to already be installed, so I'm hitting brick walls right now.................

Has anyone ever found a fix for this that doesn't require dodgy illegal downloads or having the game already installed? Ready for chucking the discs in a bin but I REALLY want to play TS1 again, lol.
I have been playing since the first game came out as well I have played all of them even the mobile versions. but I can't even get the sims 1 to work with my computer it's windows 10. I hope someone finds a fix soon or EA or Maxis can tell us how to fix it. I may ask my uncle if he has an older computer running an older version of windows.
