Where is the saved games location of The Sims 1 Legacy? How can I restore my old games? I tried to put my saved old houses in UserData location as it was and it doesn't work. They don't appear. EA point here https://help.ea.com/en/help/the-sims/the-sims-legacy-collection/the-sims-minimum-requirements/ the save game path is in My Documents>Electronic Arts, but this doesn't make sense. There's nothing there. My only folders appearing is The Sims 3 and 4.

wallacebrunatto Try replacing the entire UserData folder for whichever neighborhood your old house was in. You can save the current UserData folder to restore if this doesn't work or if it erases some other progress you've made. And do make sure that you're working with the folder for the neighborhood where you want the house to be. If you put something in UserData2, it'll show up in neighborhood 2 but not the others.

check your C:/D: drive! I found all the UserData folders under (D:) > EA > The Sims Legacy

I found the UserData folders too, but when I put my saved houses and overwrite the files, it doesn’t work. They don’t appear in game!

Snapshots don't appear to be saving,either. They aren't going in the photo album folder of Sims 1 Legacy edition.

C:\Users\[your username]\Saved Games\Electronic Arts\The Sims 25
The UserData* folders correspond to neighborhoods 1 through 8, and relevant data—sims, houses, photos, etc.—is in various subfolders.

this path C:\Users\[your username]\Saved Games\Electronic Arts\The Sims 25 doesn’t appear to me. I don’t have any folder called SavedGames not even “The Sims 25”. I don’t know what’s wrong.

wallacebrunatto Please download Everything, from VoidTools, which is a free and highly efficient search tool, much better than Windows search. The portable version is fine. Open it and search for UserData8 . Please post a screenshot of the results. You can black out your username where you see it, but leave everything else intact. And if necessary, expand the window sideways so that the entire path is showing for each entry.

I found this folder! Thank you so much! but unfortunately my old save game didn’t work. I have Sims 1 CD version with all EP and I put a saved game (house 50) from it in ‘The Sims 25>UserData>Houses’ overwriting the existing file, but Sims Legacy didn’t read it. I think saved games from other Sims 1 version isn’t compatible with Legacy because it doesn’t appear in game. Is this correct? Did I do correctly? Or is this a bug?
