The Sims: Legacy Collection – Bug Reports & Suggested Improvements

Two additional bugs from my "collection":

• Very bad performance on AMD graphics cards, barely playable on community logs
  • Sims 1 Low FPS | EA Forums - 11853816 - See https://forums.ea.com/discussions/the-sims-franchise-discussion-en/sims-1-low-fps/11853816 for reference
• Mysterious crashes that happens as soon as the burglar steals an item
• (Partially?) broken transition screens when changing between "home" and a community lot
  • That one can be fixed by using FaithBeam's widescreen patcher, just create a set of files for 1280x720 and use the UIGraphics from there

Suggestions:

• Add an option to change the game resolution without having to change the Desktop resolution itself
• Add support for bilinear filtering for the UI elemts and the (background) sprites instead of enforcing neirest-neighbor scaling
• Add support for starting with all expensions disabled and then gradually "add" them (one-way operation since removing content afterwards is likely not possible)
