TS1 Legacy - Low Frame Rate

The game runs pretty much next to perfect besides the low frame rate that happens when more Sims get on a specific lot. Even when trying to go downtown or to old town, the game has a  ridiculously low frame rate. My computer is not even a week old.

Is anybody else seeing this issue?

  • Yup, this appears to be an issue with AMD graphics cards, it is super frustrating, I have a 7900xtx with 24gb of vram and I'm only getting 5-15 fps on a community lot IN THE SIMS 1- Cyberpunk with path tracing would run faster than that lol

I'm affected by this as well, also on an AMD graphics card. Unfortunately today's patch didn't change anything, performance is horrible.

I found a temporary fix for it. If you adjust your screen resolution to 1280 x 720, it kinda works to fix the problem for now.

  • I've got that lag and my PC runs on AMD Radeon RX7600 usually run NFS Heat smoothly become low FPS around 4-5 FPS

But when I try move screen away from Sim it's gain FPS for no reason and move screen back to Sim it's start getting low FPS again

I've tried lowing the res but it's still showing 20 fps for me on community lots

  • Another update today, but I'm still having this problem. Argghhhh. It's not even making my game unplayable per se - it's just genuinely frustrating. I hope AMD users are prioritised in an update, and soon.
