Heads of the Sims cut off in Family Editor + no shadows

Hi,
fist of all, thanks for the re-release of the first two sims-games. A dream became true! (Nearly)
But please, EA: Could you fix some issues?

- If you choose a resolution higher than 1720 x 1440 and go to the Family Editor to create a Sim, you cannot see his/her head, only in the mirror left to him/her.
My resolution is 3440 x 1440. I tested every resolution down to 1720 x 1440 and every higher had something missing. I assume, the camera has to zoom out more. Then it should be fine.

- I cannot select shadows. The Radio-Buttons are greyed-out and I am seeing no shadows at all.

Beside of that, the game runs very well!

    It's me again. The problem with the cut off graphics is not only in the Family Editor, it is in the City view, too.

    Look at those two screenshots. With 1720 x 1440 I can see every lot, in 3440 x 1440 they are no more in the field of view:
