I have a Sim who usually works out with the TV and had 5ish body skill. I bought her a ballet barre and had her use it, within SECONDS I was flooded with skill point notifications and her body skill was maxed out.
She's in the Dance career, has a Drama degree, and has medium enthusiasm for Music and Dance. Surely this isn't the intended behaviour of the barre and is a bug?
Did your sim study Physiology from bookcase? Learning that skill makes them master the body skill.
The Physiology Body Skill gain is a bug. its not meant to be that instant for them
Yep. I consider it part of the game at this point, since it's been in the game since the release of Apartment Life.
Ah, that makes a lot of sense. I'm pretty sure she studied physiology shortly before I got her working on Body again. Agree that even so it shouldn't be that quick..this was 5 levels almost instantly
