Thank you so much Dustlex for your reply! It helps me a lot!
So I'm going to install it on my second PC. The gaming experience will be amazing.
Honestly, I think The Sims 2 is the best game in the whole series. I'm so captivated by the idea of being able to create everything myself, to be able to create my own worlds entirely. I feel like I have total creative freedom. And even the neighborhood system, where neighborhoods can contain sub-neighborhoods, is absolutely brilliant. It allows you to create worlds, and within each world, create different interconnected cities. It's absolutely incredible!
Meanwhile, I've been looking into The Sims 4, and I was surprised to see that everything is locked down: you can't create your own cities; the number of lots and apartment buildings is very limited, etc. Everything seems small and limited in The Sims 4. If EA were to evolve the game into a Sims 4 2.0 (or even a Sims 5), I hope they would give it more creative freedom in that regard (just like in The Sims 2). And even Inzoi (which is newer and more modern) doesn't seem to be heading in that direction either. Video games in the 2020s are too restrictive, locked into commercial strategies.
Anyway, I'm really grateful to EA for developing this remaster of The Sims 2. It's truly fantastic. Technically, I think it's one of the best video games of all time.
So for now, I'm staying focused on this game, and I can't wait to install it on my second PC. And I'm going to run it at full settings; I'll see how far it can go.
Thank you so much for your advice! 🙂
Have a great evening!
I agree with you! You're absolutely right. I also think it's great that EA re-released Sims 2. And I also think it's a shame that everything is so predetermined in Sims 4, but it's still a great game and I'm already looking forward to the next Sims generation. :D
You're welcome! I hope Sims 2 runs better on your second PC!
Have a great weekend!
