Cherieris MissIcewolf patejko uhleeshaah Please let me know whether OneDrive is active and syncing your Sims 2 user folders, and whether missing Sims still appear in other Sims' memories, or if they had been replaced with $Subject. Also check if there is an antivirus that could be flagging the game and preventing it from from creating new character files. If you have received an object error, please go to Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy and package your Logs folder into a ZIP file, then attach it to your reply here.
For me my sim's kid just disappeared after returning from a community lot (child was not on the community lot). My OneDrive is active, it is syncing EA Games folder (can't seem to disable/exclude it). My missing child appears in my sim's memories as #Subject. All Sims and EA related apps are whitelisted in my AV. No error code or anything. Just unexplained disappearance of my legacy babies :( help!
Sorry for the late response, I’ve been having some computer issues (unrelated I hope)!
I don’t have onedrive installed on my computer. The only antivirus i have is the windows defender or whatever it’s called (the built in antivirus).
as far as the memories, I can’t say for sure since my computer is currently out of commission and I also went ahead and deleted the family as I didn’t think there was any use in keeping them without my original sim. It did try to show where the family bio is but I didn’t get an image of that or anything. It seems to be something easily recreated and I can get more information if I could get my computer to work.
I never received any object error and the only other thing that’s happened was a single crash the first time I booted it up that seemed to fix itself.
I did it, both antivirus and OneDrive. Still not working, it's just a game issue not computers. EA need to fix it ASAP, people are going crazy and they do nothing.. so waste of money..
