Is anyone else having difficulty loading custom content? I was able to properly load a custom dress but nothing else has been working. It seems to be files that end in ".Sims2pack". I am also having issues with not being able to click away in create a sim for custom skintones, but I saw that others have already brought that up in other discussion posts.
files that end in .sims2pack have to be installed with the sims 2 pack clean installer which you can find online! if you just put it in your downloads folder it wouldn't extract any of the content within it to your game . But yes- the custom skintones is broken for now :(
I tried installing the pack cleaner, and it works fine for the old Ultimate set, put it doesn't fully load for the new Sims legacy. Some files have worked but not any lot files. Do I need to uninstall ultimate for the pack clean installer to work properly?
It's possible you CC is dependent on having all of the packs. Try putting in the IKEA pack and then try your CC again. (Google GitHub Sims Legacy IKEA pack fix).
Never mind, I found out what I was doing wrong. I needed to have the files download into the teleport folder and not the downloads folder with the Sims 2 pack clean installer. Hopefully EA will fix the skin tone issue.
