Cutscenes Broken

I'm experiencing this issue too! Broken Alien Kidnapping & Alien Birth!

Then went to check if wedding was too and got Cassandra left at the altar. This one isn't broken, didn't have time to check more.

Had the same issue. Pascal's alien birth was glitched, only saw part of the sky and his plumbob was merged with him. 

Happy I haven't bought this yet.  I still have the original version I re downloaded that was given out several years ago with all the content.  Only drawback now is when sims are inside there are big black boxes under their feet.  Will consider buying the legacy when all the crashes get fixed.

Vidcund's abduction FINALLY worked for me today. I don't know if it has to do with the update or what. Pascal's birth is still all glitchy, though. The plumbob was clipped inside of him, his arms were sort of missing, and the baby didn't even show up in the cinematic.

I'm pretty sure setting the shadow settings to Medium quality should take care of that black box shadow issue, if I remember correctly. I've also seen some fan patches floating around to help with the High quality shadows.
