"Fatal Error" - Sims 2

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
I have a recent computer, nvidia geforce rtx 4060 graphics card and a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400F 2.50 GHz processor. Would it be possible to get an answer so this can be fixed? Do you have any solutions?
Thank you very much for your feedback. 😭

  • I have the same problem, I have the fatal error every time when the first loading screen appear so I can't play at all. The game was working fine when I launch it yesterday and I don't change anything since.

I've tried to quit and restart ea app, repair the game, uninstall and reinstall, even add it on the exclude list from possible threats on antivirus. I also tried to add -w ont the advanced boot options (a solution for the dx 9 error and I'm on dx 12 but I'm desperate 😅).

I don't have any more ideas, I've reported the issue through the ea error reporter on ea app (the 3 lines icon on the top left corner -> help -> ea error reporter), hope they will help soon...

(English is not my first language, hope it's clear)

The log files are only the ones with "log" on title or also the others like "mising-anim-b", "AppWarnings", "Sims2Exception" ?

Thank you for your help !
