Game doesn't load past the loading family screen

Hi, when I go to load into a family/household, my game won't load past the loading family screen. I've tried reinstalling and repairing the game files but the problem still persists. My game is also for some reason recognizing a few "objects.package" files that are in the pack folders as custom content even though I have nothing new in my game.

yippee8067 Can you let me know where your game is installed? Objects.package being recognized as CC is definitely suspicious. In the EA App, you can click on the three dots on The Sims 2 icon, and select View Properties; the Install Location field will show the file path where you installed the game.
