How to properly uninstall Sims 2 packs?

Hello, everyone.

A few months ago, I managed to get TS2 UC and for a while I hesitated to remove my physical copy from my computer. Recently I decided I no longer needed them so I wanted to remove them through the control panel but apart from one or two packs, nothing happened so I waited another few days to see if I could try again and it worked until I tried to uninstall the Celebration SP, nothing happened again so I want to the Program Files (x86) to remove it manually but still nothing happened. I also noticed files from packs I uninstalled are still there but there's only two files in those (TSBin and CSBin or just TSBin). I'm not a really tech-savvy person so if anyone can guide me on what to do, it would be greatly appreciated.
  • Instructions are old, but still relevant. Except for when it mentions Windows XP or something. :D It does tell you where you need to go, but the path might be different depending on your version of Windows.

That's exactly what I did but it seems like they were already uninstalled because when I put the disk in it told me I needed to the Sims 2 to install the packs and when I put in the base game disk, it told me to install it but I refused. Somehow, once I did that, the packs no longer appeared in the Control Panel, it was weird. There are also folders in the InstallShield Installation Information folder but not with the same number. Should I remove them?

Hmm if they have a different number those could belong to the UC, so I would probably leave them for now. That is odd putting the disk in helped them out of the control panel, but hey, whatever works! :D
