Promotion issue
There was no issue before the patch, but now there is a bug where Sims in certain careers (Education, Law etc.) do not get promoted from career level 9 to level 10. When they go to work, the Sims are in excellent condition, their job performance is at its peak, and they meet all the requirements for friends and skills. However, they have been stuck at level 9 for several days without getting promoted. I think this is a bug.
I recently discovered the cause of the promotion issues in my game. I had applied the moreawesomethanyou mod collection, which includes hundreds of mods, making it challenging to identify individual effects. One particular mod, ‘harderjobs’ and ‘jobfixes’, was the culprit.

This mod not only prevents Sims with maxed-out skills from securing higher-level job positions but also limits the number of Sims who can reach level 10 in certain careers. This restriction explained why my Sims couldn’t achieve the top levels in the Law and Education career tracks. I’m relieved to have pinpointed the issue and hope this insight assists fellow Simmers facing similar challenges.
