Sim still can’t eat cooked food | New patch #3 does not work?

Hi all, A new Patch has recently been released showing that the bug has been fixed where Sims could no longer eat prepared food. However... my Sim still can't eat prepared food? The following tip...

Has anyone with this bug tried using a grill instead? I sent my starving sim to the Cooking Contest lot in Desiderata Valley and she was able to eat the hotdogs she grilled. Would also eat restaurant food, just not her own cooked food. I'm not attached to this sim as I've barely played with her so I'll just create a new one.
