Hmm. Try deleting any and all cache files and the .cigen file for Sims 2. You can also try moving the SavedSims folder out onto your desktop. Sometimes, for no reason I can fathom, it causes bodyshop to crash.
Some people have also had luck by deleting extraneous body shop exe files that shouldn't have generated but did, and launching from the latest pack that was added. So for UC that's Fun With Pets- SP9. Go into program files. Then into each of the pack folders, and the pack folders inside those. Check to see if there are CSBin folders. If there are, go into those. If there are bodyshop files in any of them except Fun with Pets- SP9- delete them. There shouldn't be any except in there, but weird stuff happens. My game only has bodyshop in Fun with Pets- SP9, but I've read that others have had those files appear in other ones.
