Wrong. Only SimCity 4 had the ability to "Make" a neighborhood :p
But The Sims 2 had the ability to "Edit" an existing neighborhood.
Technically you could add worlds onto the Sims 2 and name them and write the description. It may not be to the extent of what creating with SimCity 4 did, but it was a lot easier to customize a neighborhood with the Sims 2. The Sims 4 has cookie cutter neighborhoods like the Sims 1 did. - Scobren9 years agoLegend

In TS4, you can write the description :p .
Shoot I forgot they added that in a recent patch. Still can't name it. Thank you for correcting me on that. - I miss that too. I made Florida, and had three lots dedicated to my Disney area. I had the safari, and a place to "swim" with dolphins and manta rays. Of course Disney its self, with a mini main street, the castle with a working track and carts, haunted mansion, amusement area, PoTC with a roller coaster. And another themed area with a volcano and roller coaster.
I wish I could find the CD I saved it on, I would reinstall that so fast. LOL - Witches, which were much better in the Sims 2 than Sims 3.

Someone doesn't quite live up to the name of "friendly" simmer- Just because someone else doesn't miss it doesn't mean that she's saying no one else should. Sheesh. Lay off.
I miss it too. This 'create a new save' is really confusing and it annoys me having the same people in the neighborhood everytime. - Trashmagic9 years agoNew AceYup. If you owned sim city 4 you could create the world itself. Even just decorating made a huge difference. I love the skyscrapers, the farm land overlay, and the lighthouse.
- Also, Sims 2 had private school, which your sims could get into.

Ph yeah, and a troublesome translation to Danish (which I am and play). Many players didn't get how to please the school master because of that. And yes, try and play Sims 2 to see if it's really better. I don't think so.
