Sims 2 Legacy accidentally bought on EA App instead of Steam

So, a few months ago I got a Sims 2 Legacy Collection game code and I redeemed it through EA app.  However I wanted to play my childhood game on the go with my steam deck.  But I own it through EA app not Steam.  I don't think anything can be done about this unfortunately but I would like to know if I could somehow get it on my Steam library.  I really love playing games when I have a long road trip and I am not the one driving obviously.  Please let me know what I can do about this.

    Hey Grant311​,

    Unfortunately there isn't a way to transfer games between the EA app and Steam. Unless you want to buy the game again on Steam, there isn't anything I can really recommend.

    Thanks, that is a shame but it's okay.  I can rebuy the game for Steam, I have yet to buy the Steam Deck but when I do I will buy The Sims 2 Legacy Collection again (Sims 1 later).  I will have lots of fun playing with my Sims when I am not driving on road trips.
