My game keeps crashing when the pet returns home from the service career. I unfortunately saved as they were coming home so I am stuck unless this gets fixed. Anyone have any tips on how I can maybe get around this until EA (hopefully) fix the early bugs?

This is happening to me as well. I've saved a couple hours before my pet comes home from the service career, but every time my pet comes home the game crashes. I don't know how to get around this.
Try moving the family out and moving back in again, that can sometimes help corrupt families.
It does, but i fired my dog just for case
Same problem here, my cat went to work and now everytime it's close to him getting home the game crashes... If I knew that it was because of the career I would never put the cat in it ๐ญ
i saved literally like 5 seconds before my cat came back from its job so im just stuck in a never ending loop of my game crashing and i have no idea what to do๐๐๐
Yes, same here. Crashes every single time my pet dog comes home from the show biz career.
I am the same, I even moved lots just incase it was the lot of my family. I also changed the animals career and still crashes.
