Sims 2 legacy collection won’t launch steam deck

So I bought sims 1 and 2 yesterday and while ts1 works great I get the dx9 error for ts2 even tho I put -w in launch options, for other people it seems to work out of the box but for me that wasn’t the case. Hope someone can help me.
