Sims 2 Legacy crashes when playing Open for Business

So i was playing Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and had the same issue, when my sims would go their business and I'd play, it would soon crash and give the message 'The application has crashed. the application will now Terminate'

When they released Sims 2 Legacy, I thought this would have been fixed as it had been updated for use on newer Windows. Unfortunately I am still getting this issue and no one else has mentioned this specifically, everyone else seems to be getting other issues or in different parts of the game.

It works perfectly otherwise, it is only when i am playing Open for Business and that's my favourite part.

Anyone else in the same boat or have any advice?
