Same here. The update got stuck on 99%, as the initial installation did.... multiple times. I uninstalled the EA app, reinstalled, restarted my PC. When I ran the update again it actually finished. I ran the game thinking it would finally work... Nope!!!! I uninstalled Sims 2, reinstalled. It finished the installation properly this time so I thought it was solved.... Nope!!!! Still the same message. 'Files have been corrupted during the installation, please reinstall the application.' Blah, blah. I then ran a repair, and..... Still the same message!!!!
