Sims 2 Legacy installation stuck at 97%

Question

I attempted to install The Sims 2 Legacy and the installation has been stuck at 97% for the past hour. When I cleared the cache for the EA app, its now saying that I have a DirectX setup error. Which appears to be different from the other Direct X error that people are having after they have installed the game.&nbsp;

I'm having the same issue! Also tried clearing the cache as you mentioned which didn't work! And The Sims 2 Legacy is appearing in my installed games, however its installation is paused!
