Once stairs are placed in build mode, they cannot be moved or deleted

yo same problem. try this: 1) "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true", 2) then shift + right click the stairs, 3) "force error", 4) then "delete". you only have to do it once with staircases, but with connecting stairs, which are the smaller ones, you'll have to do it for each individual tread. after this, you will be able to place new stairs, and they won't be glitchy or anything.

This is most certainly a seriously glitch and it almost requires you to delete and replace everytime. If you just try to delete them you are refunded the $ but the stairs go nowhere. The only way is to do the method advised above. You can then replace them, but it will happen again. Very annoying.

its also worth noting the stairs can not actually be used in my case The sims teleport all over the freaking lot.

Yeah my sims are teleporting from the back of the house to the front stairs and all over the place lol

Omg thought I was the only one who had this issue. Got the teleporting too. Thank you so much msalcedocol for the fix 

Does this happen on all lots or just the ones you build yourself? I have the same issue but just with new created houses so far.

I've had this happen both on lots I've built and lots already apart of a neighborhood. 

mate54I've attached one of the lots that I have this issue with, if it helps. It happens on random lots, prebuilt or when I custom build.
