Sims 2 not starting!

I am having an issue starting the sims 2!
It keeps giving me this pop up!! Help!

I also had that problem as well when buying the Sims 2 Legacy from the EA App. I tried reinstalling, changing the compatibility, and nothing worked at all.
Yeah, I’ve tried that as well! Nothing seems to work :(
