Sims 2: Weird Issue with Connected Hoods

Post-patch, I just made a test world (for unrelated reasons) attached a test subhood and loaded it. When I loaded my subhood, the subhoods for my Veronaville (that the patch added, I DID NOT) were changed, too (I don't know how, I only know the date).

I don't like any of this behavior with this patch going too far, because it also added subhoods to my saves and stealth hoods to my clean N001. Lord knows what else these patches are doing.
