Sims help

Question

Need help with the game I sometimes  put the Sims game down to the desktop so I can change music or look on net if i have too when I click on the game to go up again it only shows half like blue screen and half game and half desktop but I can still hear the game and also click on desktop shortcuts at  the side please help

I have noticed since getting windows 10 that the game does not like to be minimized like that. I have had problems with it getting weird, maybe not at first, but after doing it more then once it can freak out and not come back up. Only solution I got is to not minimize while playing.  :D

I play in windowed mode though I have it set up high enough that it looks like it takes the whole screens so I can do something on the internet or whatever while I play. Other than that not sure how to avoid it.
