Drove a car off lot with the Cordial sisters. When they returned home, they were stuck in place, sitting in an invisible car. Time still passes, other sims still behave normally. I can queue actions, but can't cancel the "return home" action or go into build/buy. Exiting and reloading doesn't do anything.
What do I do?
Have the same issue. Had to exit out and reload. My sim couldn't drive anymore, had to take taxi everywhere 🙄
I had the same issue, eventually she fixed herself but the game completely changed my car…and the color of it. It was the mechanic car fixed up and painted yellow. It changed it to some turquoise car. It took about 3 in game hours for the game to unstick itself.
Yep, this happened to me too.
Unfortunately that doesn’t work for me. Exiting the game, loading different worlds or households… doesn’t matter.

jesus h... so I let the game run, and eventually it gave me an error message saying there were no available driveways, which wasn't true. A car--a different colored car--materialized around them, and as it pulled into the open driveway, I got another error message saying no driveway was available. Unreal.
Edit: The car is in the driveway, the sims are in the house, and it keeps popping up with the "no available driveway" error. What the
Edit2: I used MOO to place a second driveway next to the first one. The original car spawned on the second driveway, next to the first driveway with the new, different car. So the original car was stuck in car purgatory looking for a driveway that wasn't the open, available driveway. It needs a new driveway placed, which you can't do while they're stuck in the car. So you have to let the game create a new car, let it park and let sims exit, delete that car, delete the driveway and replace the driveway to get the original car back and the error to stop.
I'm having the same issue. kept getting a lot transition error and then the no available driveway error. I hope they fix all this crap because this is ridiculous. my hopes aren't high though.

I want to add that the car alarms I get installed in my cars seem to vanish at some point. I send my Sim off to get it installed, and they return home with no issues. Later when I look at the car, I have the option to get the alarm installed again. First time I thought something had gone wrong with the first car alarm installation, so I sent my Sim again, only for the option to show up again later when I checked. All car since has had the same problem
I had the same issue. If you have a sim that is not stuck in the car, you can use them to try and talk with the sim that is stuck. It helped me and my sim that was stuck then started to drive and park the car as normal.
Not sure what to do if all your sims is in the car.
