The Sims 2 Legacy bundle and The Sims 2 discs on same laptop
I really want to buy and download The Sims 2 Legacy but I have a few of the Sims 2 discs installed on my laptop as well as the Graphic rule maker, although it's never really worked properly. Was wondering if I downloaded The Sims 2 Legacy would it cause issues and clashes with the files. I know I can uninstall the discs but would it leave the files behind
The Legacy game has its own set of files so will not clash. I have Legacy and Ultimate Collection both installed (although I am not playing Legacy yet due to all the reported bugs). If you do decide to uninstall what Sims 2 games you already have, make sure you do a a clean uninstall (I use a free cleaner programme to make sure all left behind odds and ends are cleaned up).
