The Sims Legacy and Sims 2 Legacy

I have a windows 10 alienware laptop. I bought the Sims legacy bundles on the EA App but have some issues.

Sims Legacy: I can't get my game into full screen mode. I've tried to do the alt + enter but that didn't work. Tried to do advance launch options but it still doesn't work, and the screen is still tiny.

Sims 2 Legacy: Whenever I try to launch the game it freezes and stops responding so I can't even play it. I did try to restart my laptop and repair the game but it still didn't work.

  • I also have an Windows 10 Alienware laptop. For Sims 1 Legacy edition I have to change my resolution in my settings to 800/600 to make the screen larger. Its an older game so its easier to see on lower resolutions.

I am still having that same issue with the Sims 2. I have been messing around with my graphics options to see if that helps. I think the problem is its trying to run at a framerate that is not possible for an older game.

I do wish they would have completely remastered the games, as that is what is needed to run on newer PCs.

I'm having the same issues with TS2 Legacy. My whole computer freezes when I try to load it. I finally got TS1 Legacy to finally start by installing newer C++ drivers and changing compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3 and running as administrator.
